Second Look is an informational and educational clinical trial discovery tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, cure, prevention, monitoring, disease-management instructions, urgent-care support, or eligibility determinations. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals and trial sites before making medical or enrollment decisions.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service and/or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

The Service, including software, design, text, graphics, logos, interfaces, workflows, ranking approaches, and underlying technology, is owned by Second Look or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
Trial listings and source records may come from ClinicalTrials.gov, sponsors, sites, publications, conference materials, or other public and third-party sources. Those sources may be subject to their own rights, disclaimers, and use terms.
Second Look may generate or display summaries, classifications, labels, relevance signals, logistics context, and other enriched materials. These outputs are provided for informational purposes and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial clinical trial research and educational purposes.
If you submit information to the Service, you represent that you have the right to provide it. User Content includes health profile data, notes, saved-trial activity, trial tracker responses, reviews, ratings, feedback, and support messages.
You grant Second Look a limited license to host, store, process, display, analyze, and use User Content to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
By submitting a trial experience review, rating, or feedback, you additionally allow Second Look to de-identify your submission and use it in patient-facing, research, nonprofit, partner, analytics, or commercial insight contexts. Specifically:

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or restrict parts of the Service at any time, including features, content, data sources, and availability by geography or platform.
We may suspend or terminate your account or access for violations of these Terms, to protect the Service or users, to comply with law, or for other legitimate operational reasons. Upon termination, the license granted to you ends immediately.
The Service is not medical advice, is not a substitute for professional care, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, monitor, or manage any disease or condition.
We do not warrant that trial information, outputs, summaries, source material, contact details, statuses, locations, or relevance results are complete, accurate, current, or suitable for your circumstances. Trials and registry records can change rapidly.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Second Look and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, health outcomes, enrollment opportunities, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or CAD $100.
Some jurisdictions limit exclusions or liability caps; in those jurisdictions, these limits apply to the maximum extent permitted.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Second Look from and against claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from:

We may seek injunctive relief, equitable remedies, and any other remedies available at law, including recovery of legal fees where permitted.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
Subject to mandatory consumer protection laws, you agree that any dispute will be brought in the courts located in Ontario, Canada, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
